To resign is NOT a very good way to keep the rotten apples out of the estate --smarter for you to hire counsel on behalf of estate ahd have counsel hammer them--for that matter assuming you are fully appointed et al--yousend the gals written notice to stay off the property--and have htem arrested if they trespass. It probably a stronger move for you to stay nominally in charge but use counsel to do any strong wark.
BTW, how much of value is in the overall estate?
If its "tiny" might not be worth protecting? And if its decent size--youare entitled to a modest fee PLUS costs of attorneyto actual work.
I'm not sure if executor needs to notify everybody -thats a simple local lookup---but the will is public and they are free to go look it up--and the executor must run notices as to folks who might have claims against estate etc.
