For the past several months I have been the victim of harassment and intimidation at work, creating a hostile workplace. I had tried to resolve the issues with the person through meetings with our supervisor and was told that that they were 'close' along with the VP of the company, and not to try going over their heads. Worried for my job I tried to 'suck it up' while searching for another position. When the attacks against me escalated I spoke to HR. Shortly afterwards I was fired. The grounds given were a reprimand I'd been justly given a few months ago and had not repeated. I know the VP very well, and it is SOP to deny unemoployment claims. My question is, do I have grounds for suit in the state of Texas?
