    MEDICAL MALPRACTICE

I NEED TO KNOW HOW I FOUND OUT IF I HAVE A MEDICAL MALPRACTICE CLAIM

MY FATHER PASSED AWAY IN HOSPITAL 3 MONTHS AGO, AND I FEEL THAT HE DIED DO TO AND ERROR IN BLOOD TRANSFUSION, OR AND INFECTION CAUSED BY A PIC IN THE ARM THAT WAS NOT CHANGED ON THE APPROPRIATE DATE.

I NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN REVIEW HIS HOSPITAL RECORDS (WHICH I HAVE..1459 SHEETS FOR A 21 DAY STAY) AND SHE IF THEY CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN AND IF THEY THINK THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A ERROR ON THE DOCTORS PART OR NURSES PART.

    Re: MEDICAL MALPRACTICE

This is not a civil rights issue.   All his records would have to be taken to a medical malpractice attorney by the executor of his estate for review to determine if there is a cause of action. Error and bad outcome does not necessarily mean that malpractice occurred.  Many things will determine if there is a case including his age and other health factors at the time he passed away.  Many times a PIC line will not be changed if there are mitigating factors that indicate changing it would not be in the patient's best interest.

Attorneys to not solicit clients from the boards and site rules prohibit referrals.  You may use the "Find A Laywer" feature on the site to locate counsel in your area.

In the future please turn the caps lock off when posting.  It is difficult to read and considered "shouting" on the internet and "rude" by many people.
