    Where do I go

    I am writing a book and I need to know what steps I must take in obtaining someone to assist in finding a publisher and perhaps assist inmarketing the idea as a television show.

    I started writing and the instructor that advised me that my story was one worth telling and felt that there was a market for it has become ill and is unable to even talk .

    Can someone give me an idea of what to do or steps I should take?

    i know a lawyer  is needed to protect me but what else is needed?
