Burns from the product Nair Hair Remover

I bought the NAIR hair remover lotion this morning. This particular product is for legs and body. I used the product as instructed on their bottle, I tested a small area on my legs. I waited for 3 mintues and I saw that nothing irritated my skin, the hair that was in the area I tested was coming off. I got excited now, that I can use this product and have no reaction. I used the product on both of my legs, I waited 3 minutes and then took a damp warm wash cloth and removed the cream and hair off both of my legs. It worked great, I was so happy! Then I decided to use it on my bikini line and underarms, after washing off my legs. The product says on the back, for legs, underarms, bikinni area, NOT FOR USE ON FACE. Well if it worked great on my legs, now I can use it, under my arms and bikini area. Yea right!!!! The creame ate up under my arms and my on one side of my bikini area. I didn'teven leave it on for 3 minutes!  As soon as I put it on, it started to tingle a little, after a few seconds more, it started to burn. The burning sensation was uncomfortable, so I decided to take it off. As I raised my arm, it was red and burned, both underarms!!! My bikini area same thing! It hurts so much now, I can't even put down my arms without it burning more. I am walking around with both arms out, because it hurts a lot, when I put them down. My left underarm is burned pretty bad! I took pictures immediately. I am asking what can I do about this? Have anyone else experience burns from this product? Advice on this matter from a lawyer, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! I live in Atlanta Georgia.

    Google Nair burns.

As usual with any medication or potion or lotion, etc, somebody's going to have an unpleasant reaction to it and all you'll see on the internet is the few people that it effects. The millions and millions who use it successfully don't complain.

Call your doctor. There's probably a simple remedy that, if you use it, you'll recover in day or two.

Because you had a reaction doesn't mean you have a case and you probably don't.

But feel free to consult a products liability attorney.

Did you do a patch test on the more sensitive areas?

I would definitely call a doctor; even in the off-chance this is actionable, you'll need an expert's opinion.

However, you have to figure that a substance that dissolves hair (at least at the root) is pretty powerful and act accordingly.
