    Permanent Resident Revocation

My husband and I were married 5 yrs, without the blesssing's of my family....he is of Arab decent!!!!! we had our up's and down's...but no abuse...My family and friend's we're convinced that I was being used for greencard!!!!! My husband had a fiance in his country before coming to USA...but he broke the ties.....After my family finding this out they insisted that I check into it....In the country that he come's from..after the family chooses your future wife documents and forms are drawn up I'm assuming like marriage license but without a marriage taking place or consumation.....Marriage is only confirmed after the actual wedding and consumation....Well to make a long story short.....I took document's to immigration. stating that it was just paper's and nothing confirmed....My husband had already had his permanent residence for 5 years..This was in 07. In late 07 we recieved a letter stating that hid permanent residence had been revoked.....We hired an Immigration Attorney and letters from his friend's and family stating that he was not married in his country  ....After almost 2 years we recieved a letter stating that the Immigration Judge denied his explanation!!!!! We have been married now for 7 year's....He is my soul support, my partner my best friend.. I'm fearing deportation....I'm currently under Dr's care because of all of this....Where can we go from here???? Do we pursue ? Do we hire another Immigration Attorney and request a hearing? He is my husband, I truely do not believe I can survive without him.......I need you help....please...Thank you ....Rita

I do not understand what you mean by saying that you took the documents (presumably about your husband's previous engagement or intention to get married) to immigration. If he already had a green card, what was the purpose of doing that? Was he under revocation or deportation proceedings at that time? Had immigration requested the documents for some other reason? Now you say that the immigration judge has denied his explanation. This may mean that he has been ordered deported and you may have a limited time to appeal or ask for another hearing. You should see an experienced deportation attorney right away.

This above is only general information and is not legal advice. It does not create an attorney-client relationship.
