I need some Advice about Non Custodial Parent

My daughter is 10 years old. Her father has not had any contact with her hasnt seen her since she was 1 month old.  We went to court have a current cs order.  Also in the court order it states that we are to split all uncovered medical expenses 50/50 and that has not happened.   I sent him a certified letter about what was his portion and he denises to pay any of it.  I am also going through a review for childsupport so he believes he doesnt have to pay.   He pays me 246 a month.  When that was set he was only getting VA disability.  Now he gets some VA disability and he is also a sheriff dispatcher in GA.  He claims that he pays two much now.  I spend 240 a month just on before and after school care so i can work.  I dont get any assitance and I also have 2 other kids in the home that I take care of.    I dont know what to do to get the expenses paid.  He called me and told me that he would rather pay 1500.00 to an Attorney than pay the 350 dollars that Im asking for geezzz.   I only asked for expenses for the past 2 1/2 years.  I have medical and he has medical insurance on her.

He claims he pays 800 a month for medical thats why he not going to pay me anything.  In the state of FL what can I ask from the courts to pay for? School supplies clothes ect.  I need help or plase direct me to a web page that can thanks so much

If he isn't following a court order, you need to charge him with contempt of court.  It's best handled by an attorney, but legal aid or the county clerk may be able to help you file it.

I can file contempt charges myself?  Or do I need childsupport enforcement to do that?   He does pay childsupport regulary just not any medical or dental bills.

If the medical reimbursement is to come directly to you (rather than be deducted from his pay), then you can file.  I'd call legal aid or the county clerk for instructions to do it yourself.  You may want to call your local child support enforcement first to see if it's possible they can handle it, but if not...you'll have to go to court.

Curious on why he does not see the child. Is this buy his choice, yours, or court order? You likely will not get any money for extra curricular or extras, Child support is supposed to cover that. Expect Dad to fight you tooth and nail for a child he never sees and has no relationship with, even if it is by his choice. If he sees his child support go up, expect that he will eventually want to see the child.

You need to hall him back to court for a review of your current support amount.  If he's making more money, you have every right to request a review.  Aaaaand, I'd make sure to tell the judge he hasn't paid a dime for uncovered expenses.  My daughters bio dad was ordered to have her covered under his union medical ($10month) so I had to pay for her coverage ($250month) through my employer.  I explained this to the judge and he increased my monthly support amount to cover my $250.  Sorta bit him in the tush!
