My ex and I filed for divorce in 07 in the state of RI. It was suppose to be entered as final in August 07. We were late sending back the final judgement and apparently when we did send it, it never arrived at the court. We have been living as if it was completed (ie paying child support/alimony ect) When I went to the courthouse I was given 3 forms by the clerk and told that as long as there are no disagreements between my ex and I, we can submit everything and complete the divorce. The 3 documents are1. Family Court Final Judgement (DR 11)2. A stipulation form3. Decision Pending Entry of Final JudgementI believe we simply have to sign the papers, attach our original divorce agreement (also signed?) and submit everything. If this is correct, do we need to update anything in the original agreement such as credit card names having changed (the bank changed names), recalculate the child support formula, or make any other changes? What do I need to put on the stipulation form?On the sample Final Judgement form, there are a list of numbered statements, how would I construct that list based on our divorce agreement? Do I just list each individual entry on the findings of fact statement?
