&lt;p&gt;But, meantime, the best source of information is a trade association whose members have already been through all this and have compiled the information for the benefit of their members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There&amp;nbsp;is the Alabama Winemakers and Grape-Growers Association:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Short of hiring a corporate lawyer can anyone give advice on what I need to do to at least start on the path to realizing this dream? &amp;nbsp;It will be a small time winery (less than 50k gallons a year, probably more like 100 gals per year to start).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Again, any help or advice is appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;
