My neighbor sent over a tree cutter to my house to get permission to cut back trees that are overhanging on his property. A few years ago, my husband cut the trees, installed a 6 foot fence, and cleaned up the property line. The trees are large older pine trees and run along the property line. The neighbor wants to cut the branches off half of the tree, up about 10 feet from the top of the fenceline, which will make the tree appear split in half. There are no branches hanging on any part of his property, except those that are very high up. They are not near the house or obstructing the yard. They provide shade and shelter. He doesn't like trees shading his property because he says he can't grow grass on a narrow strip of dirt along my fenceline - despite the fact I told him I would purchase shade seed for the lawn. I told him not to touch my trees until I find legal answers to these questions .. I do not want him ruining these trees.

My question is... are there any rules pertaining to how much a neighbor can trim another neighbors tree to prevent damaging the beauty and health tree (ie, height). I heard there may be some laws in NJ that were passed because of issues similar to this but am unable to find anything.

Any assistance or links you can provide will be much appreciated.

Lisa in New Jersey

Re: Personnel File Folder

Hello.

I would like to know how to request my federal personnel file folder.

I would like to have all documentation for my records as I know that there have been many lies told on paper and on government forms.

Is there a specific agency who over sees the department of homeland for personnel, management, wrong work ethics and wrong working practices.

How to find a federal attorney for federal worker.

DC0000

Old Gas Station Site... contamination???

Hello,

We purchased a property in California in the 1970's from a major oil company. It had been a gas station. Of course in those days, no one did Phase 1' or 2's or testing, etc. We built a restaurant&nbsp... a tire store on the site which are now getting old and past their useful&nbsp... order for us to do any new project in the future, I'm sure that we would be required to do testing where the gas station was. So here are my questions...

Should we wait until that time in the future when we are ready to build something new, or should we test now? I don't know if there is a fund in place now to take care of these costs...

Is the Oil Company still responsible?

Do the Oil Companies fight you or do they acknowledge&... take care of all costs.

Thanks for the help...

Money owed my employer

My boss decided to close his co. Does the ex-employee have a right to these commissions?

help please

Gonzales Family
470 Precious Dr.
Mirasol- Villa De Fortuna
On January 2000, My family and I moved in to our new home on 470 Precious. It was manufactured by KB homes and was leased to purchase by San Antonio Housing Authorities (SANA). My mother enrolled in a program offered by SAHA for low income families to purchase a new home at an affordable price. Our home is a 4 bedroom 2 bath two story home. In the last 8 years we have endured more pain and suffering then the average family. Since we first moved in our "Brand new home" we experienced major problems with the house. Like pipes busting the toilet not working and especially our a/c freezing up and dying cause my mom's electricity bill to excide 600 dollars . We would call a work order almost every day. Well a few years past and our health started going south first it started with my sister she developed a very bad kidney problem eventually she went to the hospital but nothing could done because she was pregnant with my niece . My whole family was stunned to hear because that problem does not run in our family. Then I developed a very bad throat infection to where I had to remove my tonsils and still it did not help. My brother as well has constant nose bleeds that can't be explained. My oldest son has recently had a mastoiditis and it can't be explained why. Then my mom had gone under exploration surgery and the doctors didn't find anything to why my mother got sick in the first place. These are just a few to get started off with. We have some evidence to believe that our house seems to be the cause of our sicknesses. The house was recently tested for a mold problem and they found dangerous high amounts of mold in our house. They put us up in a hotel so they can renovate our home. They replaced our air ducts a/c and carpet but still nothing has changed. Now we have learned that our land that the house is built on is contaminated with all kinds of chemicals. That is greater than the recommend amount for a safe environment. We have also learned that in the past this specific area was a dumping ground for everything known to man. We have endured a lot of pain and we just want to feel like we count.

mold problems help

hi I live in a trailer park in Hanover Twp. He has recently bought a home from me. He alleges that the home i sold him was used as a meth lab . The security office had notified me in the past that they had suspected drugs at this home. Was i required to tell my customer that? Or would i have only been required to tell him that when i had proof. Again i had only suspicions. He is claiming i did not diclose a potential hazardous environment.PLease any help would be appreciated. I am a self employed painter in Kentucky. I feel my contract with a local apartment complex is in jeopardy because I won't paint over mold that has not been properly handled. Sometimes the maintanence staff will spray bleach water or contaminated areas, but the drywall is still black with mold. I have been dealing with these situations at the same complex for almost 6 years, and the supervisor gets very disgruntled when I put up a fight about painting over it. The residents are not being notified of the possible dangers from mold exposure and, having 2 small children of my own, this troubles me very much. I also have sever allergies and asthma and am concerned for my own safety working around mold so often.
I have always maintained that I could be held responsible for covering up this health issue as a self employed contractor. I realy need some advice on this matter.
Thanks.

Environmental Protection enforcement

What can I expect from the environmental protection agency to abate environmental damage on my property?

Water and sewer contamination

I purchased my home in February 2008. I move in on March 18. I was never given a disclosure statement. I was also told that I was on city water and city sewer. The water and sewer services were being supplied by a company other than the city because my home is in a mobile home park. Since moving in I have been having problms with my sewer, nothing really bad until recently. The company supplying my water came out and worked on my lines and since then my sewer will not drain and it is backing up into my home. I can not use the showers, tubs, sinks or toilets. When I do use my toilet flushing causes the sewage to back up into my tub. I was told that an inspection was not advised. All it was, was a way to get more money, and that the water and sewer were all up to city code. I was recently told that the supplier of my water was remotely changing my water supply from city to water from an untested well, without our knowledge. I signed my closing papers without sufficient knowledge of what was going on. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has started a formal investigation because the owner of the water company has done this before and is under orders to fix the problem. I need an attorney that is not associated with my area. I have contacted all the local attornies and they can not help d/t prior cases in which they represented the owner of the water company. I ahve also recently found out the owner of the water company and the seller of this house are related. Please help. Everyone in my home is ill and I have nowhere to go and no resources.
