    Potential bankruptcy

I potentially might be filling for personal bankruptcy, and would like to know if that would effect me being a POA for my friends corporation that I has no financial investment in or gain from??

First of all, a person cannot "be[] a POA."  "POA" stands for "power of attorney."  "Power of attorney" is an abstract concept, and a POA is a document.  Obviously, a person cannot be either a document or an abstract concept.  In any event, there's no such thing as "a POA for [a] corporation," so your question doesn't make any sense.
