Does a runaway record remain in your background? Crime?

When I was 16 years old, I ran away with a friend from Miami to Tennessee, where I was met by a police officer and held in a juvenile detention center until my parents came to pick me up. Do I have a juvenile criminal record. I read that running away is not a criminal offense in these two states and I don't recall being arrested, it was overt 20 yrs ago. How can I access this background information?  Will future searches by employers, background investigation, even my law enforcement agencies find this information?

This was actually accidental, the page wasn't refreshing and I posted again. Also, I thought it belong in Juvenile, but I was not able to delete the other posts.
