    Feedback [*=*] re: Lawyer refund???

I have paid over $5000 to date, with nothing getting done, I hve done all the leg work, papers, etc, proof of stuff, and I am not contesting the divorce, but am contesting division of property that my funds paid for. Could I get a refund from my attorney as well. I feel I am owed a a refund as all that was supposed to be accomplished will surely not be at this point. Comments from anyone please..

It depends on whether you signed a non-refundable retainer agreement.

    Read the agreement.

I don't remember ever signing one, since hiring was done over the phone.
