    tennessee workmans comp

    My attorney had me sign medical release forms for the lawyer of the insurance company that my employer has. Is this standard? It is a workmans comp injury.

    Yes, they need to get ALL your medical records.  Although it wasn't really necessary as in WC cases HIPAA doesn't apply but they typically get the releases signed anyway.
