Enter a few descriptive words, like "child support modification" or "defending a small claims case" and click Go. With either search, a list of possible matches will appear.
- Have a question or want to discuss things with others? Our Message Boards are the most active consumer law Message Boards on the Internet. Click the Message Board tab located on the top left side of the page and then select the topic you want. Post a question or comment. If you're in the mood, respond to another person's question or comment. Remember: If you want to post on the Message Boards, you'll need to register first and pick out a unique user name, display name and password. If you don't mind, please introduce yourself with an online profile describing your situation and yourself, if you would like. Unsure whether to give it a try? Browse through the Boards. You may be surprised to see how easy it is to learn and help.
- Like to chat with a lawyer who practices in the area of law you need help with? Click on Live Chats tab located on the top left side of each page and then click on the particular scheduled Chat you're interested in. Follow the page prompts to enter the chat room. On the day of the chat, you can just "watch" what's going on, or you can ask your own questions of the lawyer. Review our chat help page for more information.
- Need a lawyer? Search our list of 440,000 lawyers by clicking Find a Lawyer on the right hand side of each page. Enter your city, county, state and country, and then choose the practice area. Click Search and you'll get a list of lawyers in your neighborhood who practice the type of law you need help with.
