  • Re: 1811 DR high three

Thanks, that answers all of my questions I figured they should include LEAP pay, but I know being a 1811 is very different from most federal jobs especially when it comes to pay and retirement.

  • 1811 DR high three

I'm an 1811 (Criminal Investigator) and I receive Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP) as a part of computating my high three do they include my entire pay to include LEAP and locality pay? In addition, does the 80% you can earn in another job if you receive OPM DR include LEAP and your locality pay or is just base pay only?

  • Re: SSA and OPM DR

Thanks that answers my question, of course I should have known anything with the federal government is not straight forward.

  • SSA and OPM DR

I thought you could only receive either SSA DR or OPM DR not both, but after reading other posts I've noticed discussions of individuals getting both. Does this mean in addition to receiving the 40% of your former pay from OPM you can get additional compensation from SSA DR? If so how does the breakdown work?
