GIven a written $13500 contract ...I'd not be so,quick to,assume there was mutual dissolution of the contract ...Mom unilaterally threw him off the job........

Your beef is with mom...she unilaterally interfeered with the job and prevented to plumber from doing the work ...the contract did not say time is of the essence or set an end date ..and on lots of smaller jobs the work might be intermittant ...you both will be darn lucky to not get sued by plumber. BTW is this plumber licensed in your town ?

And it may well be super lousy and impractical as well.

  • Re: What to expect - Visitation

I caught my error as to state but could not get edit to work...others caught it too....AR is not a community property state...generally inherited property is separate property but court has a lot of latitude as to equitable issues . AR may allow for child support well past 18 if the special needs child is not capable of self support at normal end of

I would take some serious steps, immidiate steps lock down all, possible financial doorways and CC he might access and avoid paying any bills solely his to pay ...in your community property state that may be not so easy...but gather all possible financial assets andnaccess and control under a safe umbrella at least until dust settles by order. I would

  • Re: Purchased car w/ Ford extended service plan, plan is invalid

I think you know the answer to that question ....and also the question of getting it if you do nothing . If I promise you X + Y and take your money and deliver X but refuse to deliver Y...you might be smart to read state issues as to theft by deception and fraud ... Do NOT make threats like pay me$3000/deliver the plan or else I report you to law enforcement

  • Re: Brother using lie to force our family

Let's try that a different way, In most jurisdictions ....the property belongs to the parent , if somebody threatens to report some supposed sex crime to law enforcement as a way of getting money or property...that may well be a big crime called extortion, I doubt law enforcement will care much about family spats, publishing /uttering untrue words

SO there is no ESP...but the subject of the bargain per your post was the car with the ESP and the seller flat out dropped the ball...and picking up the ball is not even close to impossible ..at least as per post, seller walks $3000'in to dealer and buys ESP in your name ...but muster up the steps to sue seller ....

  • Re: Question about a will

IN general , but we don't know your specifics, specific bequests get filled before a residual one , so if the pot is small, the residual entity may well get zero...and those with specific $ amounts get paid ahead of church. IN short, pray church wins because you likely get paid first . As as aside if woman of 86 had most of her wits and her arm
